The  design brief for 'From Idea to Design' was 'Design a physical-digital hybrid educational game'. The result was 'Chaotic Cooking Cards', a game we developed to challenge and give inspiration to students for cooking meals.

The physical part is a board game, ingredient cards, action and movements cards. The digital part is an app on a phone that must be placed in the center of the board. The action and movement cards give instructions to move on the board and collect cards from various food categories, exchange them, or discard them. The app randomly chooses a food-related minigame to play. The aim is to collect compatible ingredients, come up with a recipe and then votes will decide the best one.

This project is mostly part of C&A and also a bit of T&R. Overall, the process taken in this course could have been a lot better, some steps were (almost) skipped, like the research and validation. However, it was the first time and I am pleased with our final product.
