After exploring vitality and choosing nutrition, our Project 1 group developed the Chef’s Aisle. The process also included ideation, validation, research and prototyping. Some aspects of the project received more attention than others, however this process was already much better than that from ‘From Idea to Design’.

Chefs’ Aisle is a supermarket system aimed at students to guide them in cooking in a cheap, healthy, easy, fast and sustainable way. At the recipe desk in the store, students can choose an ingredient and the interface will suggest matching ingredients and recipes. The recipe and a barcode will be printed on the receipt. The barcode can be used at the food tubes to dispense the right portion into the foldable containers.

All expertise areas were included in this project, though I did not work on all of them during the project. I mostly worked on C&A, T&R and U&S, however I also took part in activities within B&E.
