Scoot the Route is a concept for an app to help people become more active in a fun way. The focus in this project was on users, which can be seen from the process. For example, personas, storyboards, conceptual models, affinity diagrams and interviews were done to get a good understanding of who our team was designing for.

Scoot the Route is an app that notifies you when a friend is on a route towards a minigame checkpoint. The app will show you the route to walk, run or cycle to a minigame point. You can only play a minigame once you are at the checkpoint. You collect points by winning minigames. The user can use their points to get discounts on healthy items from the supermarket, such as fruits and vegetables.

During this project, I mostly worked on U&S since the user was very important. I learned how to ethically involve users in the design process to make products that users would actually use in real life.
