PlayCache is a locker placed in public playgrounds in Eindhoven to encourage physical activity, and making sporting more inclusive and accessible to anyone in the neighborhood. The aim is to promote social integration and engagement within communities for people with lower incomes.
The lockers are linked to an app that is used to rent sports items, unlock lockers, and view ongoing rentals to join or invite others to join your rental. After returning the item, the rental deposit will be refunded.
